About the Event

WA | Making Lemonade out of Lemons

Join the Women in Franchising WA Committee for an empowering breakfast event featuring keynote speaker Chrissie Maus, CEO of the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce and Chair of Destination Perth.

With more than 20 years’ experience across media, marketing and leadership, Chrissie is known for her bold thinking, strategic leadership and passion for championing business and innovation. In her keynote, “Making Lemonade out of Lemons,” Chrissie will explore how businesses and leaders can turn setbacks into opportunities by responding with creativity, courage and purpose.

Following Chrissie's session will be a panel with Kristy Thorbjornsen from Snap Fitness and Ashley Connor a Franchisee from McDonalds, facilitated by Tracy Eaton from Franchise Ready.

This engaging session will provide practical insights into navigating disruption, adapting to changing customer behaviours and building resilience in today’s fast-paced business environment.

Please note: Complimentary member tickets do not apply to this event. Additionally, $5 from every ticket sold will be donated to Community First Responders Australia.  CFRA's mission is to enhance community resilience and save lives through emergency response. Since it's inception 3 years ago, they have trained over 10,000 people, installed over 60 Shock Stations®, provided licensed First Aid Services at over 550 events and empowered 2,600 to sign up to be a CFRA GoodSAM Responder. Your donation will support CFRA to continue training and supporting vulnerable communities and enable us to get a bespoke van to attend First Aid Events and train disadvantaged communities.
